In 2004 I started to network in the local greater
Philadelphia area. Prior to this I had been working
at the national level, traveling all over the country
with the tradeshow industry. Thus I had a very limited
local area network. I knew a few people who had been
friends over the years, but did not really have a
network to generate business.

By 2008 when The “Manny” ways of Networking Successful”
was publish, just four years later, I had a local network of
over 1000 people I know and can pick up the phone
and call.

All from just networking.

Now there are people who have been networking
for 20 years and do not have that many connections,
so why did it work for me? What did I do to make it work?

But more importantly, why can it work for you?
